Jadilah diri sendiri! Be your self!
Salam sukses luar biasa!!!

Tipat Cantok

Jimmy Hendrix
James Marshall Hendrix (November 27,1942 – September 18, 1970) was an American musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist. Widely hailed by music fans and critics alike as the greatest electric guitarist of all time, there is no disputing that he remains one of the most influential rock guitarists (and songwriters).Jimi was not very popular in America at the outset of his musical career, only later gaining recognition after taking a trip to England with the Animals’ Chas Chandler, where he subsequently formed the Jimi Hendrix Experience with bassist Noel Redding and drummer Mitch Mitchell. While the Experience quickly became popular in England, they remained relatively unrecognized outside of the country. It was not until their performance at the Monterey International Pop Festival in the States that the Experience became, quite literally overnight, one of the most popular bands of the era.——Hendrix was mostly self-taught on the guitar. He was ambidextrous but chose to play the guitar upside-down and re-strung for playing left-handed, which suggests he was more comfortable left-handed. As a guitarist, he built upon the innovations of blues stylists such as BB King , Albert King, Buddy Guy,T Bone Walker, and Muddy Walter, as well as those of rhythm and blues and soul music guitarists such as Curtis Mayfields. Hendrix’s music was also influenced by jazz; he often cited Rahsan Ronald kirkas his favorite musician. In addition, Hendrix extended the tradition of rock guitar: although previous guitarists, such as The Kinks and Jeff Beck. Jimmy will be an inspire guitaris for whole world guitaris.

TOMPI time

Andi Timon Profile
As a session player, he's been highly featured on CDs by drumming legend Simon Phillips, a live CD with Olivia Newton-John (Andy has been her music director/guitarist for several U.S. tours), two internationally acclaimed CDs by Kip Winger, recording sessions for Paula Abdul, Paul Stanley, and countless radio and television jingles. He has also played alongside many of his heroes such as Steve Vai and Joe Satriani (as a regular guest on their G3 tours in Dallas), Eric Johnson, Steve Morse, Mike Stern, Ace Frehley, Ted Nugent, and Pierre Bensusan, as well as some of his fave '60's singing stars such as the Beach Boys, Lesley Gore, and Gordon Waller (of Peter and Gordon fame!)So what hasn't this phenomenal talent done? Released a CD in America, that's what!! Andy has experienced great success with several of his solo releases in Europe and Japan, but "That Was Then, This Is Now (the best of X-tacy)" is his first worldwide CD that includes a US release!
This CD features 11 newly re-mastered tracks from his first two highly acclaimed solo releases, ear X-tacy and ear X-atcy 2 as well as five new songs recorded especially for this compilation that contain some of Andy's best playing ever. Songs such as the Hendrix inspired “Electric Gypsy”, the homage to Stevie Ray Vaughan, “I Remember Stevie”, a beautiful ballad “A Night To Remember”, the country chicken-picking barn-burner “Farmer Sez”, and the incredible tribute to George Harrison, “Slips Away”. These are just a few examples of why Andy has long been respected and admired in the guitar community. The common thread through all these musical genres seems to be Andy's passionate style and sense of melody.
Andy's musical career began in his hometown of Evansville, Indiana at the age of 13 with his first band, Taylor Bay. “Early on, I realized that making it in a rock band was such a long-shot, that I better figure out other ways of making a living playing guitar. I began reading about players like Steve Lukather and Larry Carlton who made their living as session musicians. This really appealed to me, since I really loved a wide variety of musical styles.”
The decision to pursue the studio scene led him to more serious music studies. He studied classical guitar for two years before moving to Miami to study jazz guitar at the University of Miami (largely because the Dixie Dregs, Pat Metheny, and Jaco Pastorius had all gone there). He eventually ended up in Dallas where he was very fortunate to get a foot in the door of a very good studio scene. In 1988, the Andy Timmons band was formed and he quickly gained a following in Texas. Around that time, Epic recording artists Danger Danger recruited him to finish their debut record, film several videos, and begin touring.
After 4 years in New York with Danger Danger, Andy returned to Dallas in 1993 to resume his studio career and the Andy Timmons Band. His first solo release, ear X-tacy, was released in 1994 to critical acclaim followed 1997's ear X-tacy 2. He then released Pawn Kings (1997), Orange Swirl (1998), The Spoken and the Unspoken (1999), and And-thology 1 & 2 (2000). In 2001 Andy signed with Favored Nations and released his first international record, That Was Then, This is Now, a compliation of the first two ear X-tacy records and and five new tracks. Resolution (2006) marks Andy's first full-length new release for Favored Nations.
Andy has been consistently voted a “Top 20 Favorite Guitarist” in most of Japan's rock music magazine's reader polls, as well as being voted “Musician of the Year” four years in a row in the acclaimed Dallas Observer Music Awards. He also has become one of the most respected and sought after clinicians representing Ibanez Guitars, touring the world on their behalf.

think about Marcus Miller
jaco pastorius may well have been the last jazz musician of the 20th century to have made a major impact on the musical world at large. everywhere you go,sometimes it seems like a dozen times a day, in the most unlikely places you hear jaco's sound; from the latest tv commercial to bass players of all stripes copping his licks on recordings of all styles, from news broadcasts to famous rock and roll bands, from hip hop samples to personal tribute records, you hear the echoes of that unmistakable sound everywhere. (it may even be more imitated at this point than the previously most pervasive jazz sound to escape into the broader culture beyond the local borders of jazz, the moody harmon mute stylings of miles davis). for all the caterwauling that has gone on about new musicians that have shown up in recent years being toted as the "next miles", or the "duke ellington of their generation", or whatever, jaco outranks all of them and all of that by being the one and the only of his kind, without predecessor; the only post 1970 jazz musician known on a first name basis with all music fans of all varieties everywhere in the world. from the depths of africa where he is revered in almost god-like status to the halls of most every music university on the planet. to this day, and maybe more than ever, he remains the one and the only JACO. and how odd it is to see this era of historical revisionism in jazz how this accomplishment is often relegated by people who should know better as being "not jazz" or as "fusion" (possibly the single most ignorant and damaging term ever invented to describe (discount) an important and vital branch of the jazz music tree). jaco at his best, as on this record, defines what the word jazz really means. jaco used his own experiences filtered through an almost unbelievable originality informed by a musicianship as audacious as it was expansive, to manifest into sound through improvisation a musical reality that illuminated his individuality. and besides all that, he simply played his ass off - in a way that was totally unprecedented on his instrument, or on ANY instrument for that matter.
because jaco's thing has been so fully assimilated into the culture and the musical vocabulary of our time, i notice that it is difficult for people who weren't around at the time of his emergence to fully weigh the impact of his contribution. as a young musician who met jaco in his prime when we were both just starting out, i can only say that my reaction upon hearing him for the first time (with ira sullivan in miami, florida in 1972) was simply one of shock - i had literally never heard anything remotely like it, nor had anyone else around at the time. and yes, as is so often noted in his case, the way he was playing was unprecedented in technical terms, but that wasn't what made it so stunningly appealing to me. there was a humanity to jaco's thing, built into those relentless grooves was that rare quality that only the most advanced jazz musicians seem to be able to conjure up - with jaco, you were hearing the sound of a time, of an entire generation at work, on the move. our musical relationship was immediate. we recognized in each other a kind of impatience with the status quo of our respective instruments and jazz in general and found an instantaneous rapport from the first notes we played together. we also became really good friends. during the short time that i lived in miami (near jaco's hometown of ft. lauderdale), we played show gigs together and occasionally played at his house (he was living on top of a laundromat at the time) and spent a lot of time just talking about music, much of it about how intensely we both disliked the so-called jazz/rock of the time. ( how ironic that we are both now associated (inaccurately) with that movement). shortly after we met, i wound up moving to boston to join gary burton's quartet. during this period, jaco and i spent time working together in new york with pianist paul bley and began a trio that lasted for several years with drummer bob moses (that group later went on to record what became my first record "bright size life".) in the middle of this period jaco recorded this album. when jaco got word that herbie hancock (a major hero of both of ours) had agreed to participate, i think his already inspired vision of what he could be as a musician and what he could do with this record in particular went to a whole other level. listening again to this record, and the way that he and herbie hook up on the original and the alternate takes of "used to be a cha-cha" we are hearing improvised music at it's highest level - but with a difference. jaco restructured the function of the bass in music in a way that has affected the outcome of countless musical projects to follow in his wake - an innovation that is still being absorbed by rhythm section players to this day - he showed the world that there was an entirely different way to think of the bass function, and what it meant. for this alone, jaco would earn a major place in the pantheon of jazz history. but, of course, there was so much more.
his solo on 'donna lee', beyond being astounding for just the fact that it was played with a hornlike phrasing that was previously unknown to the bass guitar is even more notable for being one of the freshest looks at how to play on a well traveled set of chord changes in recent jazz history - not to mention that it's just about the hippest start to a debut album in the history of recorded music. that solo, along with his best compositions like "continuum" reveal a melodic ingenuity (that rarest and hardest to quantify of musical qualities amongst improvisors) that comes along only a few times in each generation. and then there is just his basic relationship to sound and touch; refined to a degree that some would have thought impossible on an "electric" instrument. jaco's legacy has had a rough go of it - a horribly inaccurate, botched biography, endless cassette bootlegs of late-life gigs that do nothing but devalue the importance of his message through greed and overkill, and a mythology that seems to thrive on the stories that surrounded the lesser aspects of his lifestyle over the triumphs of his early musical vision and wisdom.
but you know what? you put this record on, and none of that matters. it is all here, in the grooves; everything you need to know about the guy. jaco pastorius was one of the most important musicians of our time - the fact that this was his first record is simply astonishing, there is no other way to put it. that this is without question the most auspicious debut album of the past quarter century is inarguable. as with all great recordings, the force of it's value becomes more evident as time passes.

Iwan Hasan bersama DISCUSS
Nah, ingin bukti? (yollismn)

Earn Big Business Revenue By Expanding Your Distribution
Earn Big Business Revenue By Expanding Your Distribution
Almost any product or service we sell can be sold through a third-party, someone other than ourselves. In exchange, you give the third-party a percentage of your earnings from the business they bring you, or, sell them a product at a reduced rate and they make a profit through product margins. When you approach a company to sell your product or service, there needs be a win-win relationship. Prepare to discuss the following: Where is the revenue stream? What is the compatibility of your third-party’s product line versus yours? How will you help the third-party sell your product? In short, what’s “in it” for the third-party?
Suppose you’re a graphic artist and you personally make the pitch to close every sale. Instead, expand your distribution by asking printers, specialty advertising companies and consultants to sell your services. Meet in advance to discuss the most common design jobs, the number of hours involved and what the rates will be. Your third-party now pitches her newly available graphic design services (which are actually yours), you complete the work, while the third-party collects the money and cuts you a check for 65% of the profits.
Who should I approach to expand my distribution?
Perhaps you’re the owner of a flower shop. Try approaching bridle boutiques, wedding planners or caterers and offer a 15% commission each time they sell one of your custom floral packages. Suppose you’re an accountant. You may think to yourself, “I provide a highly-specialized service. What third-party could possibly represent me?” There are partners out there for you! However, first, you must consider your customer’s perception of potential third-parties. If they perceive you offer a specialized service, then whomever you decide to partner with, must also be perceived this way. Therefore, it makes sense for you to partner with highly-specialized and regarded experts such as business consultants and attorneys. The most important element the three of you have in common is that people come to you for expert advice. Therefore, when an attorney refers someone to you, this person already has a high regard for your services due to your association with their attorney.
Here’s another example. You’re a professional organizer and your expertise is to go into your clients’ homes and help them organize their basements, or go through their clothes and prepare for a large donation, or rearrange their kitchen to make it more functional. Whatever it is you do, there are many vendors out there that you complement. How do you turn other vendors into third-party partners? First, think about whom your clients spend time with and what other vendors they employ. For example, you could approach home improvement professionals, such as carpenters and painters. Ask them to distribute your new business flyer, and you do the same for them. There’s no risk. Of course, you’ll want to make sure you’re associating with only reputable vendors, since you won’t generate a lot of reoccurring business by passing around flyers for unethical businesses.
All of my examples work in reverse too. If you’re one of the vendors, then consider approaching the flower shop or accountant and initiate your third-party relationship.
It’s my experience that what keeps us from growing our businesses is our lack of confidence in ourselves. As far as I’m concerned, if you own a business, then you have the expertise necessary to get your job done, and the gusto to approach others and ask them to sell you. If you didn’t, you wouldn’t have the chutzpah to have started your business in the first place. Now go, build some third-party relationships and make some money, and remember, spend very little.

Samba Sunda
Indonesia hasn't been the happiest of places in recent years as it struggles to keep its vast multi-ethnic territory unified and looking something like a nation, whilst grappling with the often painful clashes between traditional values and modern life that are part and parcel of any rapidly developing society. Samba Sunda are a group from Bandung, the capital of Western Java, who face the challenges of modernity with relish, imagination and more than a splash of courage. The aim of this 17-piece outfit is to update the venerable sound of a fully featured gamelan orchestra, that revered and mesmerising showpiece of Indonesia's rich musical traditions, by adding flavours from other parts of the Indonesian archipelago and from as far a field as Brazil too hence the 'Samba' in the name. Clashing gongs, lilting drums, sparkling flutes and cantering vibes all somehow manage to create a sound which is unique, modern and imaginatively faithful in its portrayal of the hustle and bustle of a 21st century Indonesian metropolis. The group is lead by composer and instrumental wizard Ismet Ruchimat, who started his career in the famous Jugala Orchestra and has since recorded with wide variety of international stars like Indian flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia and Madagascan combo Tarika. Every country and every traditional style of music needs musical pioneers to alleviate those unavoidable growing pains and blaze a path to modernity. Fortunately for Indonesia, Samba Sunda have taken up the challenge with style and gusto.

Crysis Moneter 2008 was impacted fr Asia Economic
Setelah dua pekan tarik ulur, Jumat kemarin (03/10) parlemen Amerika Serikat menyepakati rancangan paket penyelamatan perbankan senilai 700 miliar Dolar.
